As I just posted on HS.com... I'm disappointed by the Marro. The goofy hero guy is too expensive and isn't a Warlord or Hivelord and a 17 or better chance to divide is ok but I think you'd be better off with just about any other Marro squad besides the drudge (well that and the Grok.. why don't' we have any new Warlords??!!!!)

My thoughts exactly, and I am not even sure I like how the dividers look. The armor is cool, but their faces are just kind of wacky.

The Mohican hero I like, but the squad doesn't seem real great. I could see Brave Arrow being played apart from them however since is packs a pretty good hit for 50 points.

i like 'em all so far wonder why mohicans are in yellow tribe though. but the overlord has awesome special powers hit someone not even seeing them!!! sweetness. but the dividers could be a little hard to get the divider special to work.. but all cool though

Just noticed that the MRT need to attack adjacent figures to gain brave arrows bonus. [smilie=a_damnit.gif]

Brave arrow seems like isamu. He will be very hard to by range and with an attack of 4 he can do damage when he gets engaged.

The figures all seem to be too good for their low point cost. Hopefully we aren't seeing power creep being summoned to Valhalla.

I don't think so, with the possible exception of brave arrow, and he still isn't a game breaker. However if there was power creep, it would make sense from a marketing standpoint. Up till now, if somebody only bought the master set and wave one they could still have very powerful armies, but if every wave got better then people would be forced to buy new stuff to stay competitive.

Are those crossbows?

I like em... they are a little expensive, but will make descent hero killers.

Agreed, I definatly like em. Don't think they are expensive though. For flying, and typically will have height, so typically going to be a 4/4, pretty cool.

I would have to agree with. My brother and I have been talking about that ability for a long time.

Yeah looks a lot more useful than Moriko (whom I have NEVER used). Although from what I can tell Moriko is a better looking figure.

They seem to be a nice simple, but effective squad. Should be fun to play. It is not quite as steamrollerish as I thought it would be though.

Ehhh... he STILL costs 200 freakin points... not sure they justify that. But it's nice to see him FINALLY get some backup.

i have a ? okay the mohicans say engaged get extra dice for att and def but does that mean they have to be adj to them or does it include ranged attacks to? like if they were to stt someone from 5 tiles away does that give them the extra dice and vicversa getting att by an opponite?

You have to be adjacent to be engaged.

I'm not saying its a good reason but at least he's somewhat more useful now. Although yeah Kato is 200 points and the stuff he bonds with is far cheaper... and he is never worth it in the 500 point neighborhood either. Obviously we just need to start doing 700+ point games :)

if we did do more points (which would be awesome) it would just allow for people to run more theme based teams with the heros we never get to use like the samuria and gladiators

True... but games would also take a lot longer so you'd get to play fewer of them.

Yeah you'd either need to play to an agreed upon time or use an objective based scenario (as opposed to kill 'em all)

i don't think it'ld take much longer if any if people used for example a gladiator team the three heros and 3 squads would be just under 700 points and take up 15 tiles plus you always have to have a time limit anyway

True... but you'd have people (me included) taking the maximum ammount of figures possible.
