Wow... After all this time I have been on these forums I finally am free on a Casual Play Sunday. I can't say for sure if I will be there, though, but I will find out quick. (put me down as maybe for now and I will get back to you).

I guess since those who are attending Gencon will be practicing, I could be a test dummy. What kind of armies do you guys want me to bring and how many points?

I added you to the "maybe" section as requested. We will be playing 520 points at GenCon as well as 450 point armies on smaller maps and for speciality tournaments such as capture Raelin, Jumpstart, and heat of battle. So we are playing with 520 armies and under? Because most of my armies I make are 550...just wondering so i can be prepared. :mrgreen:

Also, If i were to bring a map, would i construct it there?

Right now since a few of us are leaving for genCon soon, we've been playing 520 and 450 a lot (as well as the heat of Battle, Capture Raelin, and Jumpstart senarios). As for maps, we usually construct them at home and then transport them on a sheet of foamboard in the trunk of your car, Works quite well.

Thanks paradox, I see myself now. And I thought I was lost in cyberspace!

I will try and find a moment to read up on those scenario rules before I come. Is there any specific army build you want to practice on? I don't have a whole lot of multiples on common squads, but I can furnish most tourney army concepts with what I have. Just want to make sure you guys get a good practice session in, so let me know what you think you will be up against and I will try to supply it! :wink:

Well it sounds like my family is going to come out but as I said I will have leave early. Not sure about how long for the rest of my family but I think gas will proably force us all into leaving when I do

Will there be other board games, or is this exclusively Heroscape?

It's usually all Heroscape for us until about 6pm - though we've been known to break out other games on rare weekends. 'Drew and the gang normally start showing up about 5-6pm and who knows what games they'll be totin'!

I will bring all my terrain. So if we don't have enough maps those that didn't bring anything may be contracted as slave labor :twisted:

I don't have much in the way of plans printed out though so you may be stuck with a puny masterset map or the massive Arrglyn Fortress.
