This guy continues to make some sweet tourney style maps. I'm probably going to bring either 'Above the Mire' or 'Diversions' next weekend, or maybe both!

For those that played these maps yesterday, what was your opinion on them?

I didnt get to play on the swamp map yesterday... but it looked excellent.

I got one game in on "Above the Mire". Killer looking map!

Most of the action (of course) took place on the elevated road. Both players sent ranged units chasing high ground. A melee troop went for a glyph on the narrow side, but was shot up pretty badly from the bridge.

I think it would have been interesting had someone tried to cross the map under the bridge, but this tactic didn't come up.

I'd have to get a couple more games in to have a solid opinion, but it sure looks promising!
