Been trying to come up with some fun 750 point themed armies for the next game day - since I'll never be able to run ALL of them, thought I'd share some of what I've come up with! Feel free to add your own.

Orcs!
Simply added some melee power to a popular Arrow Grut army - should actually be pretty formidable thanks to off-the-charts synergy.

Mimring 150
Krug 120
Swog Riders x 4 100
Arrow Gruts x 3 120
Grimnak 120
Heavy Gruts x 2 140

Total: 750

Mostly Valiant
Another play on a 500 point favorite of mine.

Nilfheim 185
Sir Gilbert 105
Knights of Weston x1 70
4th Mass x 2 140
Templars x 2 240

Total: 740

Hivelord Ho-down
One of about a million possible Marro armies.

Tor-Kul-Na 220
Su-Bak-Na 160
Nagrubs x3 90
Stingers x3 180
Me-Burq-Sa 50
M. Warriors 50

Total: 750

Batteries Not Included
Glads and Blasts already see enough play, so you won't find them here.

Deathwalker 9000 140
Deathwalker 8000 130
Zettian Guards 70
Major Q9 180
Major Q10 150
Deathreavers x2 80

Total: 750

Immune Response
Made up of large Soulborgs, this army should be immune to most specials - combined with a minimum defense of 5, this bunch could be trouble...

Major Q9 180
Deathwalker 9000 140
Deathwalker 8000 130
Deathstalkers x3 300

Total: 750

Red Death
Like the name says! And yes, I've got enough Minions to run this one...

Minions of Utgar x5 550
Taelord 180
Marcu 20

Total: 750

The Empire Strikes Back
750 points seems like the perfect excuse to run Spartacus...

Spartcus 200
Roman Archers x3 165
Roman Legionaires x2 100
Marcus 100
Crixus 90
Retarius 90

Total: 745

Slither
With so many serpentine bodies on the board, this army looks killer! Braxas provides much needed ranged support to the vipers. Add another squad of Venocs if your opponent will spot you 10.

Braxas 210
Mittens 120
EOV 100
Armoc Vipers x2 130
Venoc Vipers x4 160

Total: 720

Dark Skies
Could be fun if your opponent will ignore Nilfheim's pesky 5 point signature.

Braxas 210
Charos 210
Nilfheim 185
Mimring 150

Total: 755

InvASIAN
How can you mention themed armies without throwing in the Samurai?

Tagawa Samurai Archers x3 195
Hatamato Toro 130
Kaemon Awa 120
Tagawa Samurai 120
Kozuke Samurai 100
Izumi Samurai 60
Isamu (almost fits!) 10

Total: 735

Major Agents

Major Q10 150
Nakita Agents 120
Krav Maga Agents 100
Microcorp Agents x2 200
Gorillanators x2 180

Total: 750

Bad Night
A nice little gathering of the undead - if you can get away with another 10 points, I'd lose the Dumatef and tack on another squad of Zombies.

Cyprien 150
Sonja 45
Iskra 50
Retchets 50
Anubian Wolves x3 225
Zombies x3 180
Dumatef Guard x2 50

Total: 750

Another Bad Night
With fewer army cards, possibly more effective than the first!

Zombies x5 300
Wolves x4 300
Cyprien 150

Total: 750

Can those guys fit through the castle doors? That may make playing the fortress map problematic with big figures like this.

This is why you want the orange start zone isn't it? Now that's a castle invasion!

I would love to see that!

We had some similar ideas, but I don't have as extensive a collection. Here are a few of my teams

East Meets West

Kaemon Awa 120
Tagawa Archers x2 130
Tagawa Samurai 120
Izumi Samurai 60
Nijas 110
Isamu 10
James Murphy 75
Deadeye Dan 60
Guilty McCreech 30

Total 715

Super Vydar Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!
I'm not ashamed to post a glad/blast combo. Mostly because I enjoy the team name :)

Laglor 110
Nakitas 120
Major Q10 150
Gladsx2 160
Blastsx2 120
Reaversx2 80
Total 740
(I really wish I had Gorillantors)

Overpriced Kyrie Attack
I suppose Minions don't really fit the overpriced criteria :)

Empress Kiova 90
Einar Imperiumx2 280
Raelin(SOTM) 120
Runa 120
Minions x1 110

Total 720

And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead
Just for the visual effect of the Zombies backed up by a skeletal dragon...

Zombies x 2 120
Cyprien 150
Sonya 45
Su Bak Na 160
Ne Gok Sa 90
Marro Warriors 50
Marro Stingers x2 120
Isamu 10

Total 745

The name alone makes this one worth playing!

I hadn't thought about that - so I checked. Yep, they can all fit!

Actually, the idea that first jumped to mind for me was:

Templars x5 600
4th Mass x2 140

For no other reason than it would look cool coming to take back the castle! Too bad we don't have "Longbowmen" or something similar. For this one, maybe I could get away with using Roman Archer figures in place of the 4th Mass (using 4th Mass stats).

Oh, and yes - the Templars do fit through the castle door (how ironic would it be if they didn't?)
